Project Description:

Specific projects are developed based on student background and ability, and vary depending on research needs at the time student is accepted to work within Dr. Wang’s research group. Dr. Wang’s research specializes in the following area: groundwater modeling, nutrient transport in rivers and aquifers, sinkholes, application of LiDAR data to water resources engineering, and sea level rise impact on coastal groundwater.

Student Responsibilities: Students that have proficiently completed coursework in calculus with a minimum of "B". Knowledge of word, excel, statistical and data alysis software are a plus. Response and review of an application does not indicate a guarantee of acceptance.
Student Requirements: Varies depending on research project needs and requirements. May involve the performance of technical literature reviews and data alysis using ArcGIS, Excel or Matlab.
