Project Title: Marine Conservation – Restoration Success
Project Description:

Student(s) will assist with field research on the success of our long-term oyster reef restoration and living shoreline stabilization efforts.

Student Responsibilities: Students should be biology or environmental studies majors with a goal to enter the workforce or graduate school in conservation, marine biology, environmental studies, or related field.
Student Requirements: Efforts will be a combination of data collection in the Indian River Lagoon and processing the data on main campus.  Field data collection will occur primarily on weekends, with processing on campus scheduled to fit student schedules.  Work is muddy, wet and sometimes cold.  Students need to have their own transportation.
